The Basic Water Test covers essential water contaminants and attributes needed to get a general overview of your water quality. If you don’t suspect a major problem with your water but you want to be sure, this test should be all you need.

Attention Home Inspectors and home inspection clients! In order to receive this scan, it must be purchased online.
How It Works

1. Collect a Water Sample

We’ll mail you a kit that includes everything you’ll need to collect a water sample and mail it back to us.

2. Get Your Results

After we’ve completed the test, we’ll fax or email you an in-depth technical report on your results and send a copy by mail for your records. The report includes recommendations on how to improve your water’s quality and how to remove any unwanted substances.

3. Free, Expert Follow-up Consultation

Most water testing companies consider their job done once they’ve sent your results. We don’t. We want to make sure you know what you can do to improve your water quality and remove any harmful contaminants. That’s why we offer follow-up phone calls with our experts at no additional cost.

Who It’s For

Our Basic Water Test covers essential water contaminants and attributes needed to get a general overview of your water quality. If you don’t suspect a major problem with your water but you want to be sure, this test should be all you need.

If you have a water softener, reverse osmosis, radon mitigation system, UV filter, or arsenic filtration and want to check its effectiveness, this test will do so.

You should also consider the Basic Water Test if you’re seeking approval for a home loan. Water tests are often required in order to secure a loan, but the test may need to meet specific requirements. Our Basic Water Test meets the requirements for most major loans, including:

  • Veterans Affairs (VA) loans
  • United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) loans
  • Federal Housing Administration (FHA) loans
